I wanted to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation for the superior level of service shown to us by your hostess, Angie, during a recent visit this month.

Our company provides executive protection to CEOs and high net-worth individuals at various locations around the world. On January 7th, one of our teams, including myself, were in Playa Del Carmen with the owner and co-founders of a major U.S.-based jewelry corporation. Our work in the area led us to your restaurant and Angie was instrumental in our decision to bring the VIPs there for dinner that evening. She demonstrated the highest level of customer service and helped to ensure everyone from our group had a positive, hassle-free dining experience.

Sunday, January 24 – Wicky’s Haiti Fundraiser

On Sunday January 24th, fund-raising events will be executed simultaneously in Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Puerto Morelos to raise much needed funds for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. “Hope for Haiti” is a local, grassroots campaign whose mission is to raise badly needed funds to support the relief efforts going on in Haiti.

“Hope for Haiti” Playa del Carmen will be held on Sunday, January 24th 2010 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on the beach at Wicky’s. Wicky’s has generously volunteered their beach and their culinary skills to make this event a huge success. There will be a fabulous BBQ with pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, veggies and all the fixin’s you can eat for $200 pesos per adult, $100 pesos for children 12 and under. Children under 3 eat for free! There will also be great beer and drink specials running all day and a 50/50 raffle!

Playa del Carmen’s J.J. and the Nasty Bastards Band, will be providing entertainment with guest performances by some of Playa’s favorite visiting musicians.
