Wicky’s Restaurant & Beach Club is the VIP Sponsor at the Taste of Playa, on Saturday, September 5, 2009.

The Taste of Playa celebrates the creativity and cultural influences of chefs throughout the area promoting unique culinary perspectives in the Riviera Maya. The event will take place from 2pm until 9pm at the Parque Fundadore in Playa del Carmen, overlooking the Caribbean sea. Over 35 celebrated chefs and restaurants will participate in the event offering the local community samplings of their favorite tastes and drinks. A portion of the proceeds from the Taste of Playa will be awarded to Ak Lu’um International School, a non-profit pirvate learning institution that integrates young students with physically and developmentally challenged children in a safe learning environment.
